Daher has inaugurated its cutting-edge technology centre, Fly’in, at the Tarbes-Lourdes-Pyrénées Airport in southwestern France. The 2,100-square-metre facility is dedicated to advancing sustainable aviation and is Daher’s third innovation hub, complementing the Log’in centre in Toulouse for industrial logistics and Shap’in in Nantes for advanced aerostructures.

Supported by the French government, the European Union, and regional authorities under the France 2030 programme, Fly’in aligns with Daher’s “Take Off 2027” strategic plan. The centre focuses on research, development, prototyping, testing, and data science to address the aerospace sector’s environmental challenges.

One of Fly’in’s flagship projects is the EcoPulse demonstrator aircraft, developed in collaboration with Safran and Airbus. This initiative explores electric hybridisation technologies to reduce aviation’s carbon footprint.

Fly’in is also part of the Campus Aero Adour initiative, which aims to train 15,000 professionals and educate 36,000 individuals on aerospace sustainability by 2030. Daher’s CEO, Didier Kayat, emphasized the company’s commitment to blending innovation with environmental responsibility to shape the future of aviation.
