Riyadh Air, Saudi Arabia’s emerging premium airline, has revealed the cabin interiors and seating plans for its upcoming Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner fleet, setting a new standard in luxury travel. Configured to accommodate 290 passengers, the aircraft will feature a three-class layout: Business Class, Premium Economy, and Economy.

At the front, Riyadh Air introduces an exclusive “Business Elite” section — four luxurious suites offering larger spaces, privacy, and the ability to create a double bed for traveling companions. The standard 24 Business Class suites are designed by French seatmaker Safran, offering lie-flat beds, privacy doors, and a customized aesthetic.

Premium Economy seats are laid out in a 2-3-2 configuration with upgraded entertainment, comfort features like calf rests, and USB-C ports, while the main cabin seats are arranged in the standard 3-3-3 configuration.

The inflight experience will be enhanced with free high-speed Wi-Fi provided by Viasat, 4K OLED entertainment screens, and innovative headphone-less audio technology.

Set to launch commercial flights later this year, Riyadh Air has already secured a strong order book of 72 Dreamliners and partnerships with leading international carriers. The airline aims to challenge major Gulf competitors like Emirates, Qatar Airways, and Etihad with its ambitious offering and premium service model, backed by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund.
