Red Sea International Airport Launches Maiden Overseas Flights

Since September 2023, RSI has been buzzing with regular domestic flights operated by Saudia. Now, the airport is set to elevate its status with the introduction of international services, spearheaded by flydubai. The first international flight, slated for April 18, will inaugurate a new bi-weekly route from Dubai to RSI.

With flydubai onboard, RSI will now boast a total of eight weekly flights, enriching connectivity for residents along the Red Sea’s western coast in Saudi Arabia.

John Pagano, Group CEO at Red Sea Global, expressed his excitement, stating, “RSI, strategically located within three hours’ flying time of 250 million people, aims to host 1 million guests annually at full capacity. Our journey began six months ago with our inaugural flight, and this international service marks another significant milestone in positioning Saudi Arabia as a top global tourism destination.”
