Oman Air and SalamAir Expand Codeshare to Boost Travel Options
Oman Air and SalamAir have announced an extended codeshare partnership, enhancing travel options within Oman and beyond, supporting the nation’s tourism goals under Vision 2040.

Oman Air and SalamAir have announced the launch of an extended codeshare partnership, aiming to provide passengers with a wider range of travel options both within the Sultanate of Oman and to international destinations. The leadership teams of both airlines recently convened to discuss the future prospects of this collaboration and their shared commitment to advancing Oman’s tourism objectives as outlined in Vision 2040.
Con Korfiatis, CEO of Oman Air, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “We are excited about this expanded codeshare partnership between Oman Air and SalamAir and the strengthening of our collaboration. The extended codeshare partnership between Oman Air and SalamAir is set to significantly enhance the travel experience for passengers, offering more seamless connectivity and convenience. By integrating their networks, the airlines aim to provide more comprehensive route options, allowing passengers to travel more efficiently within Oman and to international destinations. This collaboration not only broadens the horizons for frequent travelers but also supports the Sultanate’s ambition to become a more accessible and attractive destination for global tourists.
The first phase of this partnership, effective from July 4, 2024, will allow passengers to book travel on a selection of SalamAir routes that connect to Oman Air’s network. Additional destinations will be incorporated following the successful implementation of this initial phase.
