Saudi Arabia’s flynas has been named the best low-cost airline in the Middle East for the second year and the fourth best in the world by Skytrax, aligning with Saudi Arabia’s National Civil Aviation Strategy.

Saudi Arabia’s low-cost airline flynas has been recognized as the world’s fourth-best low-cost airline and the best in the Middle East for 2024 by Skytrax. This marks the second consecutive year that flynas has secured these prestigious titles.

Skytrax, a UK-based consultancy founded in 1989, is known for its comprehensive airline and airport reviews. The awards are based on extensive passenger surveys conducted annually.

At the Skytrax Awards ceremony held in London, flynas CEO Bander Al Mohanna accepted the accolade, emphasizing that this achievement aligns with Saudi Arabia’s National Civil Aviation Strategy. The strategy aims to connect national carriers with 250 international destinations, handle 330 million passengers annually, and attract 100 million tourists by 2030.

Looking ahead, flynas is focused on expanding its fleet with new, fuel-efficient aircraft to support its growth strategy. This expansion will not only increase the airline’s capacity but also enhance its operational efficiency and environmental sustainability. Flynas aims to become a leading player in the global aviation industry while contributing to the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, which seeks to diversify the economy and boost tourism.

Al Mohanna also highlighted the alignment with the Pilgrims Experience Programme (PEP), which aims to facilitate access to Mecca and Medina, enhancing the travel experience for pilgrims.

Currently, flynas operates over 1,500 weekly flights across more than 70 domestic and international destinations. The airline has ambitious plans to expand its network to 165 destinations in the near future.
