De Havilland Aircraft of Canada has secured a major deal with Japan’s All Nippon Airways (ANA) for seven refurbished Dash 8-400 aircraft. The aircraft, set to be delivered from 2025, will support ANA’s fleet renewal strategy. The turboprops will undergo modifications to align with ANA’s existing Dash 8 fleet specifications, following De Havilland’s OEM-certified refurbishment program.

In addition to ANA’s commitment, De Havilland has received orders for refurbished Dash 8-400s from various operators across Europe and Africa. Norwegian carrier Wideroe, one of De Havilland’s long-standing customers, has placed an order for two of the refurbished turboprops. Wideroe, which operates 42 Dash 8s, serves approximately 2.8 million passengers annually to 40 destinations.

Other notable orders include one aircraft for Skyward Express, a private airline in Kenya, and another for the Tanzania Government Flight Agency, which provides VIP services to government officials and manages aircraft for Air Tanzania.
