Saudia plans to double its destinations and expand its fleet to 300 aircraft by 2032, aiming to become one of the top five global airlines by 2027.

Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) is set to significantly expand its operations over the next decade, with plans to increase its fleet size from the current 188 aircraft to approximately 300 by 2032. According to the airline’s Director General, Ibrahim Al-Omar, the national carrier is targeting a major growth in its destination network, aiming to serve over 140 destinations worldwide within the next five years—double the current number.

This ambitious expansion aligns with Saudi Arabia’s strategic vision to become a global hub, as the Kingdom gears up to host major international events, including Expo 2030 and the FIFA World Cup 2034. Saudia’s rapid growth is also expected to place the airline among the top five carriers globally by 2027.
