Embraer, Brazil’s renowned aircraft manufacturer, has announced a major investment plan totaling 20 billion reais ($3.47 billion) by 2030. The funds will be directed toward ramping up aircraft production and developing innovative products, including the company’s electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, a next-generation “flying taxi” under development by its subsidiary Eve.

CEO Francisco Gomes Neto expressed optimism about Embraer’s future, citing strong prospects across various aviation sectors, including commercial, executive, and defense aviation. The investment aligns with the company’s long-term growth strategy and continues the momentum from recent years.

Embraer’s commitment reflects its goal of solidifying Brazil’s role as a hub for aerospace innovation and production while contributing to the evolution of urban air mobility.
