Embraer Soars to Success with $1.8 Billion Revenue from Commercial Jets in 2023, Spearheaded by E195-E2

Embraer, the renowned Brazilian aircraft manufacturer, has staged a remarkable comeback, riding the wings of profitability amidst a surge in deliveries. With a promising outlook, the company anticipates exceeding the mark of 200 aircraft deliveries in the year 2024.

A Triumph in Recovery

In a testament to its resilience, Embraer raked in a substantial $5.2 billion in 2023, outshining the previous year’s revenue of $4.5 billion. This upswing was buoyed by the delivery of 21 additional aircraft throughout the year. Notably, the manufacturer handed over a total of 181 jets, comprising 64 commercial and 115 executive jets (comprising 74 light and 41 medium), alongside two C-390 Millennium military transport aircraft.

With this impressive performance, Embraer orchestrated a dramatic turnaround in its financial trajectory, culminating in a net profit of $164 million, a stark contrast to the net loss of $185.4 million recorded in 2022. The final quarter of 2023 witnessed Embraer’s revenue reaching $1.9 billion, culminating in a net income of $192.6 million for the three-month period.

Diversified Revenue Streams

Breaking down its revenue streams, the aircraft manufacturer reported earnings of $1.8 billion from commercial aircraft, $1.4 billion from business aircraft, $515.5 million from defense & security, and an additional $1.4 billion from services & support divisions. Furthermore, the company registered $80.5 million in other revenue sources.
