In a groundbreaking achievement for environmental sustainability in the aviation industry, Cathay Cargo Terminal and Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (Hactl) have emerged as pioneers by becoming the first cargo handling-companies in Asia to attain the prestigious IATA Environmental Assessment (IEnvA) certification.

The IEnvA certification, developed by the International Air Transport Association (IATA), stands as a comprehensive program independently assessing the commitment of aviation stakeholders towards continuously enhancing their environmental and sustainability performance. Covering a spectrum of stakeholders from airlines to cargo-handling facilities, IEnvA ensures adherence to globally recognized standards and best practices, fostering environmental responsibility while maintaining operational excellence.
