Air Arabia Soars to New Heights with Direct Sharjah-Kraków Route Launch
In a move set to enhance connectivity between the Middle East and Europe, Air Arabia, the region’s largest low-cost carrier, is thrilled to announce the commencement of daily flights between Sharjah International Airport and Kraków John Paul II International Airport in Poland.
Commencing operations on 29th June, Air Arabia’s Airbus A320 fleet will facilitate seamless travel between the two destinations, offering passengers unparalleled convenience and affordability.
Under flight designation G9 730, departures from SHJ will commence at 09:00 AM local time, with arrivals at KRK scheduled for 01:05 PM local time. The return leg, flight G9 731, will take off from KRK at 01:55 PM, touching down in SHJ at 09:35 PM local time.
Adel Al Ali, CEO of Air Arabia Group, expressed his enthusiasm for this milestone, emphasizing the airline’s commitment to expanding its network while delivering exceptional value to travelers. He highlighted that the addition of Kraków to Air Arabia’s route map not only underscores its dedication to affordable travel but also unlocks exciting opportunities for leisure and business travelers alike.
This strategic move comes amidst Air Arabia’s concerted efforts to bolster its presence in Europe. Recent expansions include the introduction of direct flights to Athens, Greece, set to commence on 28th June. Additionally, Air Arabia Maroc, the carrier’s Moroccan arm, is set to inaugurate four new routes from Tetouan, enhancing connectivity to Barcelona, Malaga, Brussels, and Madrid, effective 31st March.
With a fleet of 71 Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft currently in operation, and an additional 120 A320s on order slated for delivery by 2025, Air Arabia is well-positioned to continue its trajectory of growth and innovation in the aviation industry.
