In a landmark decision, Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, presided over a meeting where the Abu Dhabi Tourism Sector Strategy 2030 was approved. This visionary strategy aims to catapult Abu Dhabi into a premier global tourism destination, with ambitious targets including attracting 39.3 million visitors and generating 178,000 new jobs by 2030.

Under Sheikh Khaled’s leadership, the council hailed the exceptional performance of the tourism sector in 2023, witnessing a remarkable surge with over 24 million visitors, marking a significant 30% increase from the previous year.
