Mahindra Aerostructures Inks $100 Million Deal with Airbus Atlantic

In a significant development, Mahindra Aerostructures has sealed a multi-year contract worth approximately $100 million with Airbus Atlantic. The agreement entails the manufacturing and delivery of metallic components for the entire Airbus commercial aircraft family, covering the A320 family planes.

Under the terms of the contract, Mahindra Aerostructures Pvt Ltd (MASPL) will dispatch nearly 2,300 varieties of metallic components to Airbus Atlantic in France, leveraging its manufacturing base in India.

This contract amplifies MASPL’s ongoing endeavors to deliver parts directly to Airbus at their facilities in France and Germany.

Having served as a direct supplier to Airbus Group since 2015, MASPL has established fruitful partnerships with Airbus, collaborating on various initiatives.

Jose Maria Trujillano, Chief Procurement Officer at Airbus Atlantic, highlighted the value of strengthening the relationship with Mahindra Aerostructures, citing their robustness, expertise, and cutting-edge technology capabilities, which will enhance Airbus’s supply base.

Vinod Sahay, President of Aerospace and Defense at Mahindra Group, expressed optimism about the new contract, emphasizing its significance in expanding the existing relationship with the Airbus Group.
