Operating four times a week on Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, the non-stop flight between Singapore and Vancouver boasts a duration of 14 hours and 40 minutes, making it Air Canada’s longest flight in terms of distance, covering a stretch of 12,818 kilometers.

Lim Ching Kiat, Executive Vice President for Air Hub & Cargo Development at Changi Airport Group, expressed excitement about Air Canada’s arrival, highlighting the growing travel demand between Singapore and Canada. He noted that last year saw a significant rebound in travel volume between the two countries, surpassing 85 percent of pre-pandemic levels.

Passengers traveling on the Singapore-Vancouver route can choose from three cabin options: Economy, Premium Economy, and Air Canada Signature Class, which offers lie-flat seats for enhanced comfort during the long journey. Additionally, all cabins feature individual inflight entertainment screens, providing passengers with access to a wide selection of movies, TV shows, music, and podcasts.

Tamara Vrooman, President and CEO of Vancouver Airport Authority, expressed enthusiasm for the new service, emphasizing its potential to boost tourism, facilitate increased trade, and foster connections between families and friends across the Pacific region.

The introduction of this direct flight service marks a significant milestone in enhancing air connectivity between Singapore and Canada, offering travelers greater convenience and accessibility to both destinations.
