PCAA Provides Clarity on PIA Flights to Europe
The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has issued a statement regarding the ongoing discussion on the resumption of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flights to Europe.
According to a spokesperson for the PCAA (Pakistan Civil Aviation authority), a delegation from the national aviation regulator, headed by the Secretary of Aviation, is currently in Brussels. The delegation is attending the Air Safety Committee meeting scheduled for May 14.
The spokesperson clarified that the PCAA has not made any official announcement regarding the resumption of flights, urging against speculation for the benefit of the country’s interests.
“Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority would like to reassure the public that any updates regarding this matter will be promptly communicated upon receipt from the European Commission,” the spokesperson added.
