Emirates Dominates 2024 Skytrax Awards with Seven Major Wins

Emirates achieved remarkable success at the 2024 Skytrax World Airline Awards, securing seven prestigious titles. These accolades reflect the airline’s exceptional commitment to top-tier service and unparalleled inflight experiences.

Emirates Airlines has once again showcased its superiority in the aviation industry, sweeping seven major awards at the 2024 Skytrax World Airline Awards, held at Fairmont Windsor Park, London. The accolades, based on votes from travelers across more than 100 countries, underscore the airline’s dedication to delivering premium services across all classes.

Among the standout achievements, Emirates secured the title of ‘World’s Best Airline Inflight Entertainment’ for the 18th consecutive year. The airline’s renowned ice system offers over 6,500 channels of on-demand entertainment in more than 40 languages, providing an extensive selection that includes 4,000 hours of movies and TV shows, 3,500 hours of music and podcasts, 2,000 movies, and 250 dedicated kids and family channels.

In the burgeoning Premium Economy segment, Emirates was recognized as the ‘Best Premium Economy Class Airline in the Middle East’ and ‘Best Premium Economy Class Onboard Catering in the Middle East.’ The Premium Economy Class boasts spacious leather seats, adjustable headrests, calf rests, footrests, and a 13.3” TV screen. Passengers are treated to premium amenities such as sustainable blankets, Chandon Vintage Brut 2017 sparkling wine, and gourmet meals served on chinaware.

Emirates also received the award for ‘Most Family Friendly Airline in the Middle East,’ highlighting its comprehensive services designed for families. These include priority boarding, dedicated children’s meals and entertainment, and specialized assistance for unaccompanied minors and neurodivergent children.

The awards were accepted by Graham Pepe, Emirates’ Corporate Sales Manager, UK, during the ceremony attended by prominent members of the travel and aviation industry.
