SWISS Airlines has appointed Jens Fehlinger as its new CEO, tapping into his strategic insights gained from years at Lufthansa Group. Fehlinger will take charge from October 1, 2024, succeeding Dieter Vranckx, who transitions to the Lufthansa Group Executive Board in July.

SWISS International Airlines has announced Jens Fehlinger as its new CEO, effective October 1, 2024. Fehlinger, 43, brings extensive experience from his leadership roles within the Lufthansa Group, including crisis management and airline restructuring.

Having studied aviation engineering and management in Bremen, Germany, and earned an Executive MBA from IE Business School in Madrid, Spain, Fehlinger is well-prepared to steer SWISS towards sustained success.
