Pan Am Nostalgia: Exclusive 2025 Transatlantic Excursion
Centurion Travel plans to revive the Pan Am brand for a luxurious, nostalgic transatlantic journey in 2025. Using a chartered Boeing 757 with 50 business class seats, the trip will recreate iconic Pan Am routes.
Centurion Travel is set to revive the iconic Pan American (Pan Am) brand for a unique transatlantic journey in 2025, offering a nostalgic trip back to the golden age of air travel. This special excursion will use a chartered Boeing 757 equipped with 50 business class seats to recreate the luxury of Pan Am’s classic routes.
Once the epitome of international air travel, Pan Am was known for its ‘Clipper’ flying boats and pioneering the jet age with the Boeing 707 and 747. Despite its eventual bankruptcy in 1991 and unsuccessful revival attempts, the Pan Am brand remains a symbol of glamorous air travel.
Centurion Travel has obtained the rights to use the Pan Am brand and logo for this venture. The two-week journey, priced at $65,500 per person, includes travel, accommodation, and most meals. The trip begins in New York on June 27, 2025, with stops in Bermuda, Lisbon, Marseille, London, and Foynes, before returning to New York on July 9, 2025.
Led by Craig Carter, CEO of Pan American World Airways LLC, the venture aims to remind travelers of an era when air travel was as much about the journey as the destination. “We offer a reminder of the Golden Age of travel,” states Centurion’s website. The trip promises a luxurious experience, evoking the glamour of the past.
The Boeing 757-200, although never operated by Pan Am, will be used for the journey. The specific aircraft and operator details have yet to be confirmed, though New Pacific Airlines is rumored to be involved. Whether the aircraft will sport Pan Am livery remains unannounced.
