Sheikh Mohammed Impressed at Upgraded Terminal 3 at Dubai Airport
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, praised the advancements in the UAE’s air travel sector during his inspection of the upgraded Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport. Highlighting the facility’s state-of-the-art infrastructure, Sheikh Mohammed emphasized Dubai’s commitment to enhancing passenger experience.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, recently inspected the upgraded facilities at Dubai International Airport’s Terminal 3. Praising the progress in the UAE’s air travel sector, Sheikh Mohammed emphasized the continuous efforts to improve passenger experience through state-of-the-art infrastructure, services, and advanced technologies.
During his visit on Saturday, Sheikh Mohammed was briefed on the projects aimed at enhancing the terminal’s amenities. He toured various sections of the airport, observing daily operations and inquiring about the services available to departing and arriving passengers.
“Dubai International Airport is a cultural interface that reflects our aspirations for the future,” said Sheikh Mohammed. “We are constantly working to improve the experience of travellers through the airport and provide the highest levels of excellence in terms of infrastructure, services, and advanced technologies to ensure the comfort and safety of travellers.”
He expressed gratitude to the teams working at the airport, acknowledging their efforts in aligning with the vision of making Dubai a preferred destination for global travellers. Sheikh Mohammed was accompanied by Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed, chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and chairman of Dubai Airports.
The airport saw significant growth in passenger numbers during the first quarter of 2024, with 23 million travellers, marking an 8.4 percent increase compared to the same period last year.
