Qatar Airways has unveiled the latest evolution of its renowned Qsuite business-class seats, nearly a decade after their initial debut. The new seats were revealed at the Farnborough International Airshow by CEO Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, who highlighted the enduring excellence of the original Qsuite product.

The upgraded Qsuite seats will be featured on Qatar’s Boeing 777X aircraft, currently in the certification process. These seats provide more shoulder space, legroom, and storage compared to the current model, making use of the 777X’s spacious interior.

One of the key enhancements is the ability for the inflight entertainment screens to be moved aside, allowing passengers to dine or converse face-to-face. Additionally, these screens have been upgraded to 4K OLED monitors. The suites’ partitions are now taller and motorized, and passengers can enjoy various ambient lighting options via a touchscreen remote.

Storage has also been improved, with two built-in drawers, one of which can be locked like a hotel safe. There’s also a nook for a small backpack and a dedicated water bottle compartment.

While not revolutionary, the new Qsuite offers thoughtful upgrades to an already award-winning product. The 777X is expected to enter service in late 2025 or 2026, bringing these enhanced seats to passengers soon.
