Emirates Tops Global Airline Rankings, Qatar Airways and Etihad Also Shine
Emirates has been named the “World’s Best Airline,” with Qatar Airways and Etihad also making the top 10 list, showcasing the strength of Middle Eastern carriers in global aviation.
Emirates has claimed the title of “World’s Best Airline” in a comprehensive global study evaluating the performance of 90 leading airlines. This achievement reinforces the dominance of Middle Eastern carriers, with Qatar Airways and Etihad also securing spots in the top 10.
The study evaluated airlines based on over 30 criteria, including punctuality, baggage allowance, route network, fleet age, and inflight experience. Emirates emerged as a “worthy winner,” excelling in categories such as premium economy, business class service, and its extensive route network covering 140 cities in 77 countries.
Known for operating the largest fleet of double-decker Airbus A380s, Emirates stood out for its exceptional legroom, premium economy, and award-winning first-class amenities, including an exclusive wine list and in-flight showers.
Qatar Airways earned second place, largely due to its innovative Q Suite, considered the best business class experience in the sky, and its upcoming first-class launch aimed at setting new standards. Economy travelers can also enjoy unique features like a dedicated upper deck cabin on select flights.
Etihad, ranked ninth, was praised for its focus on offering a boutique experience, contrasting with its larger regional competitors. Its upgraded A350s and Boeing 787s have gained high marks for punctuality, legroom, and fine in-flight dining.
The study’s methodology was meticulous, incorporating data from various international awards, reader polls, reviews, and expert opinions to ensure a fair and balanced ranking system.
