The Saudi Communications, Space, and Technology Commission has initiated an aerospace engineering training program in collaboration with Boeing. This month-long initiative aims to provide aerospace engineering students with practical experience and skill enhancement in space technologies.

The program is designed to foster the professional growth of students, equipping them with valuable knowledge and experience in aerospace engineering and sciences. Boeing’s participation underscores its commitment to cultivating local talent and preparing students for careers in these vital fields.

The training will be conducted in two phases. The first phase, based at a Boeing facility in Texas, will focus on theoretical studies, including advanced architectural design for lunar and Martian missions, with insights from NASA experts. The second phase will be hands-on, with participants working at a Boeing site in Alabama on projects such as developing a carbon dioxide-removal system for extraterrestrial environments.
