Dubai Airports has introduced a new Baggage Service Centre at Terminal 2 of Dubai International Airport (DXB). This advanced facility combines left luggage and mishandled baggage services, providing a seamless experience for passengers.
The Baggage Service Centre, now operational, offers a convenient one-stop shop for all baggage-related needs. Passengers can store and reclaim their luggage around the clock, with the centre strategically located to ensure ease of access.
Designed to enhance operational efficiency, the Baggage Service Centre connects publicly accessible areas with secured sections of the terminal, allowing for luggage collection without additional security screening. This setup reduces wait times and streamlines the luggage handling process.
The launch of this facility highlights the successful collaboration between Dubai Airports and its service partners, including Dubai Police, Dubai Customs, and dnata. This initiative underscores Dubai Airports’ commitment to continually improving passenger services.
Recently, check-ins at Terminal 2 were temporarily suspended due to a minor fire. The airport fire services swiftly controlled the situation, and normal operations have since resumed.
