Oman Air Appoints Con Korfiatis as New CEO
Oman Air has announced the appointment of Con Korfiatis as its new CEO, succeeding Nasser Al Salmi. The airline expressed its gratitude to Al Salmi for his service.

Saeed Al Mawali, Minister of Transport, Communications, and Information, as well as Chairman of Oman Air, made the CEO appointment. Con Korfiatis brings over 30 years of aviation experience to his new role, with a focus on continuing the airline’s transformation and improving its financial performance.
Korfiatis has previously served as CEO in the Asia-Pacific and Middle East regions, and has founded four startup initiatives in Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Singapore, and China.
Al Mawali expressed confidence in Korfiatis’ ability to lead Oman Air to sustainable success, navigating through both challenges and opportunities.
