Air Arabia and Panasonic Avionics Sign Major Deal for In-Flight Entertainment on 172 Aircraft

Panasonic Avionics and Air Arabia have signed a deal to install the eXW wireless in-flight entertainment system on 172 aircraft, enhancing passenger experiences with digital solutions.

Panasonic Avionics Corporation, a global leader in in-flight engagement and connectivity solutions, has announced a landmark agreement with Air Arabia to install its eXW wireless in-flight entertainment (IFE) solution across 172 aircraft.

This agreement builds on an existing collaboration, expanding the current setup of six A321LRs equipped with Panasonic’s eXW solution to include Air Arabia’s entire fleet of Airbus 320new, A321neo, and A321XLR aircraft. Specifically, 120 aircraft will receive factory installations, while 52 will undergo retrofitting.

Designed to elevate the passenger experience, eXW allows passengers to access entertainment on their personal devices. The system will include Panasonic’s suite of digital solutions such as Arc™ Moving Map, Insights Data Analytics, and OneMedia Advertising services, all aimed at enriching passenger travel experiences.

Panasonic’s Insights Data Analytics will provide Air Arabia with valuable intelligence to optimize onboard offerings and maximize ROI from IFEC and digital experiences. The OneMedia Advertising platform will enable effective advertising campaigns, enhancing passenger engagement.
