Air Arabia, a leading low-cost airline, has announced a revised baggage policy, allowing passengers to carry up to 10 kg of hand baggage. This move offers greater convenience compared to the standard 7 kg allowance provided by most other airlines.
Passengers are permitted a total combined cabin baggage weight of 10 kg, which includes carry-on luggage, personal items, and duty-free purchases. The maximum dimensions for carry-on bags are 55 x 40 x 20 cm, while personal items must not exceed 25 x 33 x 20 cm.
The updated policy applies to flights departing from Air Arabia’s hubs in Sharjah, Egypt, and Morocco. Additionally, parents traveling with infants are entitled to an extra 3 kg of hand baggage for essential items, provided it fits under the seat in front. This additional baggage must be declared during check-in and tagged as a personal item.
With this update, Air Arabia continues to prioritize passenger comfort while maintaining its status as a budget-friendly carrier.
